About me
Amanda Braga
I was born in Salvador, Bahia, in 1996, and it is here that I live and build my way of seeing the world. Salvador greatly influences me, in its vibrant cultural plurality, in its nature, in its more relaxed pace of life, and in the way I experience spaces, from the historical part to the most modern centers of the city.
Since childhood, I have always enjoyed creating with my hands. Drawing, painting, inventing things, rearranging furniture… this has always been very natural for me. To this day, my home is a living space. I'm always adapting, reorganizing, creating more functional and cozy corners. It's something that's part of who I am.
I have a strong connection with nature and spirituality. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, practicing yoga, meditating. I strongly believe in caring for the body, mind, and soul as a foundation for living well and with more awareness.
I am a creative, caring, and dreamy person. I have always believed in a better world and, from a very young age, I feel that my path is connected to sustainability, art, and care for people, spaces, and the environment.
Information
My name is Amanda, I'm a graphic designer specializing in branding and a student of Architecture and Urbanism – currently in my undergraduate studies – and I see this profile/portfolio as a living, constructive space to record my journey, my learning, and the projects that have shaped my perspective on architecture, urbanism, and interiors.
I believe that architecture has a role that goes beyond occupying space: it can care for, regenerate, and transform realities.
My interest lies in projects that, in addition to being technical, functional, and aesthetic, work with practical and conscious sustainability, which manifests itself in the choice of techniques, systems, materials, and, above all, in how spaces impact people's lives and the surrounding territory.
From my earliest projects, I have sought to understand architecture as an instrument of balance between humanity, the environment, and the city.
In interiors, this translates into the creation of healthy, functional, and sensitive environments that promote well-being and the responsible use of resources.
In urban planning, my focus has been on strategies that strengthen the collective, the historical roots of the city, and value the concept of vibrant cities, made for people.
This portfolio documents not only the final results, but also the processes, reflections, and lessons learned.
It reflects my pursuit of purposeful architecture, capable of generating positive impact, regenerating spaces, and above all, improving lives.
While building my professional skills, I continue to develop this critical thinking and commitment to the future I want to inhabit and provide for people 🏡🌎🌱
